Meredith and I thumbed through the Baker Creek seed catalog this afternoon. we gazed at the tomatoes and melons with hope in our eyes. I want to grow blue corn, squash, lettuce, and beans. Meredith wants to grow melons, tomatoes and herbs.
We discussed growing our gardens in child sized wading pools so we could transport them when our soon to be transitioning lives went full force. transitory gardens. imagine that!
Andrew offered to let me plant on his acreage. i like the offer, but wonder where he gets his water from, and if he might come to regret offering me a place to plant and
yard chickens.I want to make sure he shares this dream and isn't just trying to please me. I wish he would call me tonight and talk with me about this.
