The Farm Journal

I need to harvest some straight locust trees for poles strong enough to support the weight of a small stilted camping cabin.

Lee Walker of Firewalker Gallery suggests I use reclaimed wood from the wilds of our brambly land. He also suggested Roger Makepiece's aging woodpile.
This really wood help lower the cost of our agritourism adventure.
After meeting with some folks at Handmade In America, I realize how important it is to keep true to the vision. I don't want to see the land trampled by fools. Nor do I want to see the integrity of space cheapened. How can one acheive sustainability while sharing their experience with others? How one makes it worth their time?
