Yesterday I went out to Susan Hutchinson & David Forbe's homestead to trade some shiitake logs for an iron mantel Susan had crafted. They also raise Nubian goats and garlic. Susan castrates the goats herself, and claims she didn't get it right, and will need to give it another go on six of em'. I feel for her.









She has a great studio with a plethoria of hammers and gadgets that made me pine for my metal working days.
