I coasted into the Brush Creek gas station this morning to find all but one of the pumps bandaged up with yellow, stay away tape. The gas station in Mars Hill is also out of order due to legal reasons.
I remember watching a film about this sort of stuff a few years back, and distinctly recall myself thinking to myself that I was glad Armegedan had yet to begin, that I still had some time to get everything worked out, I still had time to get the husband and get back to the farm. Well, things haven't worked out quite like I planned these past few years, but at least there is still gas down at Stanley's.
