This isn't happening for a fw weeks, but I am fond of the poster, and like the name of the band. I checked them out on MySpace, and give Chakra Bird a thumbs up. Of course they have to be good if Lee Walker is having them play at his gallery.
Have you ever been to Firewalker Gallery ? It reminds me of the old west outposts, except for instead of sacks of flour and shotgun shells, Walker sells top notch art and fine craft pieces that harmonize well together. Check the space out. The interior is done in reclaimed barn wood.
Speaking of reclaimed barnwood, check out Lapland, the new bookstore in Marshall. I stopped in today and bought a paperback copy of Lonesome Dove for $4. The interior is lovely and inspires reading.
