It looks like I have found myself on another committee. I swore off meetings last year after volunteering for just about everything Marshall might need. But I have a soft spot, a passion for plants, so here we are planting hops along the chain link fence at the water treatment plant in Marshall, and planning a big planting day for April 17th.
This day will be dedicated to beautifying the various parks in Marshall with butterfly attracting plants.
This is all the masterminding of Jessica Hocz, who has a degree in landscape design, or something like that.
Furthermore, the community garden on the island is ready to be TILLED. Any volunteers?
