the Red Heart

Jennifer Woodruff, fellow slow food advocate and green building product advisor is in the Verde Valley for a few days. We grew up on farms next door to each other in western North Carolina.
We have both been drawn to the west time and time again.

I took her out to Eliphante yesterday. She is looking into getting involved, hoping to speak with the new owner.

We then stopped by the greenhouse and watered the seed starts. They have shot up and are a bit spindly. I am thinking they are seeking out light, which is odd in Arizona, but the green shade cloth might be, ah, hindering.
