eats. I spent less than a year there, mourning Rennies slow death and wishing there was a stronger sense of community.

So, there are 4 deer who steady the homestead yard. two are a young couple, the buck has little furry antlers and the doe makes my heart break open with the possibilty of love. There other two are a mama and her spotted fawn.
They love to walk around the porch and stare at me.
a list of things to do on the farm this Fall:
1. Finish the upstairs of the studio. $75 worth of Bead Board from
Lowes, and $200 worth of tongue and groove board from the saw mill on the way to Hot Springs.
2. Get gravel or stone to fill the bog outside of the barn.
3. gravel for the driveway
4. Jake will trade labor for spending one on one time with his genius son, Ben.
Ben figured out how to spell my name phoneticly. he is 4.5! He adores violins, and is a much better speller than me.
5. Finish the ceiling at Dads house. Jake labor...tongue and groove board from mill.
6. turn back porch room into a library.

Sounds like you're living in the right place now where people do not eat big bowls of dicks. Maybe Flagstaff wasn't the right place for you but it has its merits for others.

Alls I'm saying is you shouldn't burn your bridges and hurt your old friends' feelings by calling them a bunch of dick eaters. Sure NC is a honeymoon now, but what will you say about the NC folk when you move on again?
